This coastal region held immense strategic importance, controlling access to North Africa and vital trade routes. You will visit the El Alamein Museum, which houses a collection of war memorabilia, including uniforms, weapons, and photographs, offering insights into the battles that unfolded here.

Pay your respects at the El Alamein War Cemetery, a poignant site where thousands of soldiers from various Allied nations rest. The memorial also honors those whose bodies were never recovered.
