Tour Plan

Day 1: Luxor East Bank

Upon arrival in Luxor, you'll be transferred to your Nile Cruise. Embarkation is before 12:00 PM. In the afternoon, explore Luxor's East Bank. Visit the Karnak Temples Complex, a vast site with structures spanning centuries, dedicated to the god Amun Ra. Continue to the Temple of Luxor, built by 12th dynasty kings and completed by Ramses II, located in ancient Thebes and also dedicated to Amun Re. Return to the cruise for dinner and an evening of Egyptian folklore. Overnight in Luxor. (L, D)

Day 2: Luxor West Bank - Sail to Edfu

After breakfast, your tour of Thebes continues on Luxor's West Bank. Explore the Valley of the Kings, the royal cemetery for pharaohs. Then, visit the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut at Deir El Bahari, an architectural marvel carved into the mountainside. Your final stop is the Colossi of Memnon, statues of King Amenhotep III. Return to the ship for lunch. Enjoy a free afternoon, followed by dinner and overnight on the cruise. (B, L, D)

Day 3: Edfu - Kom Ombo - Sail to Aswan

Enjoy breakfast before visiting the Temple of Horus in Edfu, one of Egypt's best-preserved temples. Return to the cruise for lunch as you sail towards Kom Ombo. In the afternoon, explore the Temple of Kom Ombo, dedicated to Sobek and Haroeris. After your visit, return to the ship. Enjoy the views of the Nile. Dinner will be served as you sail to Aswan. Arrive in Aswan late evening and overnight. (B, L, D)

Day 4: Aswan City Tour - Aswan

After breakfast, discover Aswan with your Egyptologist guide. Visit the High Dam, built in the 1960s to control the Nile's floods. Take a motorboat to Agilika Island and visit the Temple of Philae, dedicated to the goddess Isis. Finally, see the Unfinished Obelisk, made of red granite and dedicated to Amun Ra. Return to the ship for lunch and afternoon tea. Enjoy a free evening, dinner, and overnight in Aswan. (B, L, D)

Day 5: Departure

Disembark after breakfast. You will be transferred to Aswan airport or station for your flight to Cairo. (B)

Optional Tour: An excursion to the Abu Simbel temples is available, either by coach or flight. This tour includes visiting the Great Temple of Ramses II, dedicated to Rahorakhty, and the smaller temple dedicated to Ramses II and Queen Nefertari. You will then return to Aswan and be transferred to your hotel or Aswan airport.
