Finally, your Egyptian escapade culminates with a discovery of the Red Sea’s allure and the vibrant Mediterranean city of Alexandria. This whirlwind tour offers a captivating blend of historical exploration and scenic beauty, leaving you with lasting memories of Egypt’s captivating treasures.
Upon arrival at Cairo International Airport, you'll be met and assisted by our representative. You'll then be transferred to your hotel in Cairo by a private, air-conditioned vehicle for your overnight stay.
Your day begins with a guided excursion to the Giza Plateau. Explore the iconic Pyramids of Giza (Cheops, Chephren, and Mykerinus) and the Great Sphinx, including the Valley Temple. Enjoy lunch at a local Giza restaurant.
Next, you'll visit the Egyptian Museum, home to over 250,000 artifacts spanning 5,000 years, including the Tutankhamun exhibit with its treasures, gold, and jewelry. In the evening, you'll fly to Luxor for an overnight stay.
Your Luxor tour starts with a visit to the Valley of the Kings on Luxor's West Bank. Explore several royal tombs. An optional visit to Tutankhamun's tomb is available for an extra fee (200 Egyptian Pounds).
Continue to the Temple of Hatshepsut, known for its impressive architecture and preservation. See the Colossi of Memnon, two large stone statues of Amenhotep III. Lunch will be at a local Luxor restaurant.
In the afternoon, you'll visit the Karnak Temple, the world's largest ancient religious site, a complex of temples built by generations of Pharaohs. Finally, you will be transferred by a private air-conditioned vehicle to your hotel in Hurghada. There's also an optional late afternoon tour in a traditional sailboat (Felucca). Overnight in Hurghada.
Experience the Red Sea with an optional snorkeling trip. Choose between a Dolphin House trip, where you can see dolphins, or a Giftun Island trip to explore the coral reefs and marine life. Lunch is included on the boat trip. In the evening, fly back to Cairo for an overnight stay.
Depart from Cairo at 7:00 AM for a private tour to Alexandria. The journey, approximately 220 km northwest of Cairo, will take around 3 hours.
Your Alexandria tour includes the Roman Catacombs of Kom El Shoqafa, dating back to the 2nd century A.D., a site reflecting the city's cultural mix. You'll also see Pompey's Pillar, a red granite column built to honor Emperor Diocletian.
Visit the Citadel of Qaitbay, a 15th-century Mamluk fortress built using stones from the ancient Lighthouse of Alexandria. Enjoy lunch at a restaurant in Alexandria.
The tour continues to the new Library of Alexandria, a modern complex dedicated to arts, history, philosophy, and science. Finally, you'll visit the Montaza Palace gardens, a large complex with beaches overlooking Al Montaza Gulf.
After the tour, you'll be transferred to Cairo airport for your international departure.
